KNAU Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are what make KNAU's value to the community unlimited! We understand that everyone has something unique to contribute, and we offer a variety of ways you can assist. Experience is not necessary to volunteer, just enthusiasm and commitment. 

Volunteering your time is a great way to meet new people, gain valuable job experience and have some community spirited fun! Here are just a few ways you can volunteer at KNAU:

  • Answer phones for our membership drives: enjoy the company of KNAU on-air and behind-the-scenes staff while you help answer our phones during pledge drive.  You can sign up for 30 minutes or 3 hours - whatever fits into your schedule.
  • Membership data entry: Help Elta sort through all the many pledges we get.  Data entry volunteers are needed all year round
  • Clerical assistance at the station during business hours, like mailings: we mail out plenty of thank-you gifts all year round.  Help is especially needed right after pledge drives.
  • Event planning: Help Liz design and organize KNAU's member events that are held throughout northern Arizona.
Membership drives are in April and October!
